How much gas do I have left?

When you lift the lid of your tank you will see a round gauge about 2” in diameter. The needle will point to the amount (percent, not gallons) you have left.

Propane Safety

If you smell gas, immediately put out all smoking materials and any open flames. In addition, don't use any appliances, lights, or cell phones as sparks or flames from these sources may trigger an explosion or fire. If you smell propane gas, immediately leave the area and evacuate the building or area where you suspect that gas might be leaking. Once you leave the area, you should locate and shut off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank, once it is safe to do so.

When you have exited the area and are a safe distance from the source of the propane gas smell, you should report the leak immediately from a neighbor's house or other nearby location by calling Liberty Propane immediately. If you can't reach your propane retailer, call 911 or your local the local fire department immediately. More than anything, do not return to the building until your propane supplier or the fire department has determined that it is safe to do so.

Finally, you should have a qualified service technician from your local propane supplier check your entire system to be sure they are completely leak-free before you attempt using them.
